Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We warmly welcome you to the 3rd Medical Congress of Suryoye jointly presented by the World Medical Association of Suryoye (WMAS) and the International Syriac Medical Association (ISMA) in cooperation with the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. Our I. World Conference on Medicine in Munich in 2017 was an unforgettable historical event.
In 2019 we had a very successful 2nd Medical Congress of Suryoye in cooperation with the University of Gießen, Germany. Now we are very happy to invite you to the 3rd Medical Congress of Suryoye as joint conference between WMAS & ISMA in cooperation with the Medical University of Vienna, from 09-11 October 2020.
WMAS and ISMA present international platforms for scientific, professional and social exchange of the Syriac community, working and studying in the fields of medicine (medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, medical students, medical technicians, etc.).
The main goals of WMAS and ISMA is to create an international network in the medical field by and for the Syriac community. We aim to organize annual medical conferences to extend and strengthen our network. With these, we will lay the foundation to establish Aramaic (Syriac, Surayt) as a scientific language, create a medical dictionary in Aramaic (Syriac, Surayt) and provide medical education for our Syriac society and medical help for our sisters and brothers in Syria and Iraq.
We are glad to organize the 3rd Medical Congress to pave the way for these important goals. Please pass this announcement also to other colleagues and interested persons in the field of medicine.
